Set up demo booking

Open your chatbot and go to the Conversation Goal page. Then:

• Set the goal to demo booking.
• Paste your scheduling link. Calendly, Cal.com, or any other URL works.
• Optionally override the lead card title if you want wording other than "Book a demo".
• Save. Changes reach live sites within about 60 seconds.

What visitors see

With the demo booking goal active, the widget shows a "Book a demo" card with a "Pick a time" button that opens your scheduling link. The bot answers the visitor's question first and makes at most one booking invitation per conversation, so the goal never gets in the way of getting help.

Contact details the visitor leaves on the card are captured as a lead, so the booking and the person's details end up together. See lead capture for how leads are stored and exported.

Google Calendar events

If you prefer bookings on your own calendar rather than a scheduling link, connect Google Calendar on the Connections page. The booking connector can create the event directly in Google Calendar.

Either way, Matram records an appointment when a booking happens, so you have a record of meetings that came from chat.
