What this converter does

  • Accepts Notion's export formats: a .zip archive, a single .md file, or an .html file.
  • Lists the pages inside a .zip export so you can convert one page, or all of them in order.
  • Converts HTML exports through the same pipeline as the HTML converter, so output stays consistent.
  • Tidies Markdown exports by normalising line endings and collapsing runs of blank lines.

How to use it

  1. 1Export from Notion. Open the page in Notion, choose the three-dot menu, then Export. Markdown & CSV is the best format for this tool; HTML works too. Notion downloads a .zip.
  2. 2Drop the export here. Upload the .zip as it is, or a single file from inside it. For a .zip, pick one page or convert every page in order. Pasting the page's content works as well.
  3. 3Copy the Markdown. Copy the result out, download it as a .md file, or use it as a chatbot training source.
